Best Practices in Social-Emotional Learning and Wellness

The Buffalo History Museum is located at 1 Museum Court in Buffalo, New York, just east of Elmwood Avenue and off of Nottingham Terrace, north of the Scajaquada Expressway, in the northwest corner of Delaware Park.

About: This academic forum will provide a platform for educators and advocates to explore social-emotional learning (SEL). PDK will be showcasing two local school districts that have done some fantastic work in this area. Hamburg Central School District and the Niagara Falls City School District. The format will include an introduction by Greg Fabiano, Hamburg School Presentation, NF School Presentation by Dr. Mark Laurie, Superintendent of Niagara Falls City School District, panel question and answer session, and time for networking.

This event will be moderated by PDK Executive Board Members Dr. John McKenna and Dr. Walt Polka.
