About: Beyond the Bell: Voices from the Human Side of Education is a PDK Ed. Talk event bringing together speakers, including students and adults, to share personal stories, perspectives, and insights about the human side of education. Through authentic storytelling and thoughtful reflection, presenters will explore the experiences that influence how we teach, learn, lead, and connect with one another. Hosted at Niagara Falls High School, this event will create space for meaningful conversations, new perspectives, and a deeper understanding of the people behind the educational experience. The event will also be filmed by Niagara Falls High School students, providing them with an opportunity to contribute to the event through media production and storytelling. Join us for a morning of inspiration, reflection, and connection as we look beyond the bell to recognize the voices, experiences, and relationships that make education meaningful. Following the presentations, attendees are invited to an outdoor reception honoring the presenters with special PDK plaques in recognition of their contributions and participation.
